#autumntag

1. Ok we're talking coffee's - what's your favourite seasonal drink from Starbucks/Costa/Cafe Nero etc?
I have to confess that I've only just started drinking coffee - I've always loved the smell of it but always hated the bitterness but since starting Project6Pack in June I've learned to love a strong black coffee in the morning so my drink of choice for all seasons would have to be a black americano.
2. Accessories - what do you opt for, scarf, boots, gloves?
I have quite a collection of scarves and boots (some might say I'm slightly obsessed) and I love this time of year so really enjoy mixing and matching my outfits to my scarves and boots.  Sadly, I don't wear my heeled boots a lot anymore as I've usually got one of my girls on my hips or am pushing the buggy so it's flats all the way fro me. Paired with my trusty skinny jeans that;s me sorted until spring next year!

3. Music - what's your favourite music to listen to during Autumn?
I tend to have the radio on when we are home as I like the background noise, we listen to Kiss and I love #Kisstory as it brings back fond memories of years gone by.
4. Perfume - what's your favourite scent for this time of year?
My go-to scent is She by Emporio Armani but I've recently been wearing My Burberry which is really yummy.

5. Candles - what scents will you be burning this season?
Autumn for me really is the start of Christmas, I get very over excited and love to plan early.  My favourite autumn/Christmas smell is Yankee Candle Christmas Eve or Snow in Love.

6. What do you love most about Autumn?
Kicking through the leaves in your wellies, wearing chunky scarves, bobble hats and gloves, seeing your breath on a frosty morning. Knowing that it is nearly Christmas, snuggling up on the sofa watching Christmas movies.  Taking the girls trick-or-treating, watching the fireworks, bright crisp mornings. It's my favourite season - there is sooo much to look forward to.

7. Favourite makeup look?
My makeup doesn't change seasonally, unless I'm going out and then I'll rock smoky eyes and thick eyeliner.
8. What are you looking forward to most in Autumn?
Everything! We have lots planned in the run up to Christmas, ice-skating, visiting Father Christmas, decorating a gingerbread house, making Christmas decorations, there is so much to do!

I was tagged in the #autumntag by Becky at BexMorts and I would like to tag Laura at nearlyyummymummy
The tag is open for anyone to do, so why not do it on your own blog if you have one!

Our week in pictures - 25th October 2015

Elsie started Tumble Tots on Monday at the Civic Centre in Warminster and she absolutely loved it!

We've also spent time in Trowbridge Park this week, kicking through the leaves and searching for conkers.

The girls go to The Wiltshire School of Gymnastics on a Wednesday which they both really enjoy, Elsie learned how to do a forward roll all by herself and now won't stop doing them!

Mark had Friday off as its half term in Wiltshire so spent the day with Evelyn, which was lovely for both of them #daddydaycare

This weekend has been filled with play dates, yesterday we went back to Trowbridge library with Evelyn's BFF Georgia and today we met a new friend of Evelyn's called Imogen at Warminster Park, it was a beautiful crisp sunny morning which may have involved a sneaky trip to Costa!

This afternoon we enjoyed a roast dinner and carved our pumpkins ready for Halloween next weekend. The house now smells lush as I have pumpkin seeds and pumpkin soup cooking - yum!

Our week in pictures - 18th Oct 2015

This week we visited Trowbridge Library and the girls had fun driving the wooden train as well as choosing some new books to read!

We had a bit of time to kill so decided to pop into the cafe and grab a piece of cake and a coffee as a treat. They really enjoyed it (although it doesn't look that way in the picture above) and Elsie got absolutely covered in chocolate, which she thought was hilarious!

I treated myself to a new pair of workout leggings, they are a little different to my usual black but I love them!

This week also saw Elsie's first pigtails - very cute but the novelty wore off quite quickly and she pulled them out after about an hour!

Our weekend has been very chilled, we had our annual family photos taken yesterday at the beautiful Shearwater nr Warminster and today we just kicked back and relaxed, the girls love having Mark around to play with.

Saturday 10 October 2015

Be all in or get out. There is no halfway.

Wow....my last blog post was 2.5 years ago, that's rubbish! To be honest I set the blog up in order to try and promote my business Beautiful Nice but couldn't find the inspiration to keep posting new things regularly.  I've changed the name to something that is generally more about me than my business and I hope to be able to share an insight into my world as Mum (to two girls), Wife (to my wonderful Husband Mark) and owner of Beautiful Nice.

A whole lot has happened since that last post; we've had another daughter, Elsie, who is 20 months old, I returned to work two days a week, (by work I mean my day job, not Beautiful Nice) we built an extension on our house, which is amazing but took loads longer than it was originally supposed to, I lost my last two remaining Grandparents and I have recently decided to start looking after myself by eating clean and getting fit.

Which brings me to the point of this post - since returning to work the business has really taken a back seat in my priorities just for the shear fact that I haven't had the time to dedicate and do it the justice it deserves, well, all that is about to change......

After 10 years of loyal service to Landmarc I've handed my notice in! So from January next year I'll be concentrating my efforts on building the business back up and being a full time WAHM.  It's a huge leap of faith and a decision that wasn't taken at all lightly. I have the full support of my Husband and I know that together we will make it work, it will be a success.  There is an awful lot of behind the scenes work to do before January, like rebranding, relaunching the website with a shop facility, building a workshop and copious amounts of planning but I feel very confident and excited for the future. I hope you will enjoy the roller coaster with me!

Love Claire x
